Heart of the Hive is dedicated to enriching the lives of youth aged 5-17 in underserved communities. We provide the vital resources and support that families often lack, enabling children to thrive and avoid the perils associated with their environments.
Our program focuses on creating a safe space where young minds can grow, learn, and explore their potential through various educational initiatives and mentorship opportunities. By addressing the barriers that hinder access to essential resources, we empower children to break the cycle of adversity, fostering resilience and confidence. Our ultimate goal is to cultivate strong, capable individuals who can contribute positively to their communities and lead fulfilling lives.

MELL
Meldonise, known as Mel, is the founder of Heart of the Hive Youth Enrichment Program, She is a mother of five who has personally experienced domestic violence and homelessness. These experiences shaped her passion for building programs that serve youth in underserved communities.
Heart of the Hive was created to provide hands-on mentorship and structured youth development programs that help young people grow, learn, and succeed. Her focus is not the hardship itself, but building opportunity for the next generation through mentorship, guidance, and support.
